Welcome to Nipper's Cafe. Adam and I grew up in Manchester, VT. We attended the local high school Burr & Burton Academy, in fact we were in the same homeroom. We reconnected and we both moved back to Vermont at which point we bought our first restaurant. We decided that Manchester was an amazingly beautiful spot to live and we were ready to start a family.
We purchased the Stamford Motel in 2005 and after running several other establishments downtown we decided to add Nipper's. We cherish the customers that find us and choose to dine with us.
We both take pride in serving you the highest quality food. We believe strongly that delicious food is made with the best ingredients. All of our soups are homemade, sauces, dressings, our famous balsamic, wings sauce and so much more.
During the summer months we have an expansive garden in order to provide you with fresh organic produce. Adam maintains the gardens and picks from them daily. Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, celery, berries, apples, fruits and so much more.
We take pride in our small mom & pop restaurant which is family owned and operated. You will even find our girls helping out from time to time either in the front or the back of the house.
We consider this restaurant a work in progress. We are continually changing and attempting to make things better.
We are striving to create a casually elegant ambiance, offering you a delicious home-cooked meal while serving you the freshest, highest quality ingredients with a very friendly level of service.
Since we are so small we believe it's all about the customer having a quality experience and a delicious home cooked meal. Come and taste the experience for yourself.
If an issue arises please let us know, so we can try to remediate the issue while you are here. We try our best to have everyone leave with an exceptional experience, in hopes that you will choose to visit us again in the future.
Cheers, Adam and Karen
